Frequently Asked Questions

What Would You Like to Know?

How does it work?

A provincially certified exterminator will apply a solution to the perimeter of your property using a high pressure backpack-sprayer, targeting any shrubs, foliage or any other places mosquitoes or ticks live, while avoiding gardens and flowers.

How quickly will I see results?

You will notice your results same day, as our product is designed to achieve efficient results in the control of mosquitos or ticks.

Where is it applied?

Our product is applied to the perimeter of your property as well as all foliage, long grass, and decks on the interior of the property.

We avoid all sensitive areas such as gardens, flower beds, lakes and buildings.

How much is it?

We base our pricing on the size of your property and the service you are looking for.

We offer our services at an affordable rate so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the summer!

Is it Safe?

All of the products that we use have been registered and approved for use by health canada.

We also ensure all our employees are properly trained and follow strong safety procedures.

Do I need re-treatments?

You can decide if you'd like a single treatment or continuous protection through the summer.

If you would like continuous protection against mosquitoes or ticks all summer long, we recommend re-treatment every 21 days. We work with you to come up with a control program that works best for your needs.

How effective is it?

While we cannot guarantee full eradication of all species of mosquitoes*, we can however, by using industry leading technology and products, provide a service that results in a significant decrease in mosquito populations within the areas treated.

Do I have to be home?

No, you do not have to be home for us to treat your property.

We will simply visit your property every 21 days to re-treat the same areas, when you sign up for a season long treatment.

How long do I have to wait to go outside?

We recommend waiting 30 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the treated areas.

Although the product is not harmful to people or pets, allowing the product ample time to settle will greatly impact the effectiveness of the service.

The Cattail mosquito, also referred to scientifically as the Coquillettidia Perturbans; is a species of mosquito in Ontario that is effectively impossible to control. Due to their strength in travelling, they tend to show up for about an hour around dusk, as they travel from areas outside of your barrier protection.*
